I would like to thank a whole mess of people:

First I thank moms for being a a strong single parent. Love you! Secondly I gotta thank my good friend and narrator, Yvette Raven, who came through at the last minute and helped me out with words of encouragement and words for the narration. You are the best!! June and Lecoy Bryant for being my surrogate family out here in Jersey. You guys have opened up your hearts and home to me and I am forever indebted to you guys. I might not say it but I love you guys! okaaay.. Whitney and Morgan.. Love you guys too.

I have GOT to give a shout to my Smoke Signals fam. Odu, Smoke, D-sekou, Hashim, ronnie-b, Tinez, Friend, Amy, Anacoana, Trula..yess you too..though I still don't care for that cannibal comment ;-p. Orchid, Romancinme, Sage-1, emat, Brown Eyes, Jobim, Malice (Thanks again for that Orishas CD), R-Squared, Solomonssong2. Yeah girl.. where you hidin' at?, Kool..beans..ahaa!, Mildrec, Castro, Zesi, Potpie and various lurkers. I know I'm a pain in tha arse sometimes, but you guys have been a life saver and a well of realness..well.. most times..;-) Peace.

I want to thank my Poetry fam. Tshaka..without whome this documentary would not have even been concieved. Ngoma.. for keepin' consciousness alive. Talaam Acey and Faraji Salim for taking me under their wings and invitin' me out to Euphoria when I was down out and depressed. Ya'll opened a world out to me. Now when's that next NRGOD CD droppin? I gotta shout Renee from over at MentalSatin.com for being a ear and a laugh when I needed it. U-ROPE!! Shout To Nile Goddess, who was lookin' out for a bruh. I am expecting an invite to the wedding. To the poets who's project were put on hold by this project I say thank you very much for your understanding.

I need to thank my Boss Lenard Bogdon who worked my schedue out so that I could make the shoot in South Carolina and start my editing. I wan't to thank Aubyn Lewis and Daniel Meaders, who at a drop of a hat agreed to be interviewed for the documentary. I wan't to thank the sis at the Burger King off 26 That served me with the prettiest smile I done seen on a drive through window and wishin' me a safe trip back to NY. I gotta thank Rick from the recording studio who worked like a Black man is supposed to and took time away from his family to record on a weekend. Peace.

Mind is running a blank right now so i'll stop writing. But I just wanted to say a word of thanks to any and everybody who has helped me along this and related journeys. We say thanks in passing but I wanted you all to know that I really do appreciate those who have helped me out, especially knowing how difficult I can be.
